“Mothers of Egypt” praise the President’s meeting today, emphasizing the state’s focus on developing education and supporting teachers and students.

Abir Ahmed, founder of the “Mothers of Egypt for Educational Advancement” union and the Parents’ Coalition, stated that the meeting held today by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education and Technical Education set clear directions for developing the educational process in Egypt, addressing several key files that impact the future of students and the system as a whole.

Abir emphasized in press statements that the President’s directives reflect a genuine will to elevate and modernize the education system to meet contemporary requirements, particularly regarding support for technical education and attention to its graduates. The President stressed the need to exert maximum effort to raise their academic and professional level to match the increasing labor market demands for this group.

She pointed out the importance of the President’s directives on expanding Japanese schools, aiming to reach 500 schools over the next five years, considering them a successful model in instilling discipline and developing students’ skills based on modern educational principles.

Abir also noted that the President’s remarks about combating cheating in high school exams reflect the state’s concern for justice and equal opportunities among all students. She added that this directive delighted parents, who have repeatedly called for stricter measures to prevent cheating and protect the rights of diligent students.

She welcomed the President’s directives on supporting teachers and providing them with necessary incentives, affirming that the teacher is the cornerstone of any educational reform, and that improving their economic and professional conditions is indispensable to enhancing education quality.

Abir further highlighted the President’s emphasis on enforcing discipline and instilling ethical and positive values within schools, considering this issue equally important as curriculum development or improving infrastructure, especially given the need for a safe and respectful educational environment that supports the holistic development of students’ personalities.
