Orman Association, Member of the National Alliance for Developmental Civil Work, Organizes Awareness Seminar on Proper Parenting in Sohag Governorate

The Orman Association, a member of the National Alliance for Developmental Civil Work, organized an awareness seminar titled “The Art of Proper Parenting and Child-Rearing” through the Community Development Association in Harja Bahri, at the Family and Childhood Development Center in Baskia, Sohag Governorate, with the participation of more than 75 families.
The seminar addressed several important parenting topics, most notably positive approaches to interacting with children. These included the importance of setting a good example, mutual respect, effective communication, establishing clear boundaries, encouragement and motivation, and learning from mistakes.
The seminar emphasized that balanced parenting is among the best approaches, as it combines firmness with affection, reinforces children’s sense of security and discipline, builds self-confidence, encourages them to express their opinions and make decisions, teaches them to take responsibility, and strengthens the bond between parents and children.
These activities aim to develop strong, independent, and self-disciplined personalities in children, contributing to family stability and social cohesion.
This initiative is part of the cooperation protocol between the National Alliance for Developmental Civil Work and the Ministries of Social Solidarity, Education, and Local Development, supporting the building and development of families and society, and promoting parenting awareness as a cornerstone of sustainable development.
