Nabil Al-Kateb Charitable Foundation for Community Development, Member of the National Alliance, Implements Food Support Activity for Damanhour Cancer Patients and Vulnerable Families

As part of the efforts of the National Alliance for Developmental Civil Society Organizations to support the most vulnerable groups, the Nabil El-Kateb Charity Foundation for Community Development, a member of the National Alliance, carried out a food distribution activity in Damanhur, Beheira Governorate. The activity targeted the families of patients at the Damanhur Oncology Institute and other priority-needy families.
The activity included distributing ready-made meals according to the number of family members, reaching beneficiaries at the Damanhur Oncology Institute, Al-Farouk Hospital Street, and the headquarters of the Nabil El-Kateb Charity Foundation for Community Development on Abdel Salam El-Shazly Street, based on the foundation’s database of the most deserving families.
The initiative also included an awareness seminar on healthy nutrition, aiming to raise nutritional awareness among the beneficiary families, especially patients’ families, to support their health and improve their lifestyle.
A total of 2,500 meals were distributed, benefiting 600 families among the most in-need.
This comes as part of the efforts of the National Alliance for Developmental Civil Society Organizations to strengthen the social protection framework and integrate the role of civil society in providing food and awareness support to the most vulnerable groups.
