The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights has opened the submission period for presidential pardon requests, in support of the right to freedom and the reunification of families.

The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights has announced the opening of submissions for presidential pardon requests for detainees and convicted individuals, ahead of their review by the Presidential Pardon Committee. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support the right to pardon, promote humanitarian justice, and reunite Egyptian families.
The organization emphasized that this step reflects its human rights and community role, carried out in coordination and voluntary collaboration with the Presidential Pardon Committee, demonstrating its commitment to supporting reform pathways and providing beneficiaries with opportunities for social reintegration.
Applicants are required to submit the following information in full: full name, governorate, complete case number, place of detention, charges, investigating authority, date of arrest, age of the accused, sentence duration, and national ID number.
