Dubai Charity Association Announces Full Preparedness to Launch Its Annual Ramadan Campaign “Goodness Lasts”

The Dubai Charity Association has announced the completion of its operational and field preparations to launch its annual Ramadan campaign, “Goodness Lasts” for the year 1447 AH – 2026 AD. This comes in line with the association’s humanitarian mission to promote social solidarity and strengthen the UAE’s position as a global hub for charitable and humanitarian work. Details of the campaign will be unveiled during an upcoming press conference in Dubai.

Ahmed Al-Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, confirmed that this year the association is adopting an advanced strategy focused on proactive outreach and precise distribution. Various departments and divisions have finalized the implementation plans to ensure the campaign’s success, achieve its intended goals, and bring happiness to a wide segment of beneficiaries both inside the UAE and abroad. This reflects the association’s commitment to humanitarian and charitable work, aligned with the UAE’s policies and directives of the country’s leadership.

The Ramadan campaign includes a package of key initiatives, such as:

Iftar for fasting individuals

“Goodness Coupon” to provide basic needs for underprivileged families during Ramadan

Orphan sponsorship

Zakat al-Fitr

Zakat al-Mal

In addition, the campaign implements sustainable charitable projects and initiatives that meet various humanitarian, social, and Ramadan-specific needs. These include:

Construction of mosques

Building and sponsoring orphanages

Extending water networks and drilling wells in drought-affected countries

Establishing Quran memorization centers

Supporting educational projects

Empowering productive families

Building health clinics and providing medical care

Constructing housing for the poor

Other humanitarian and development projects

Al-Suwaidi added:
“Our goal at Dubai Charity this year is to go beyond traditional figures. We aim to make a tangible impact in the lives of underprivileged families and expand the social protection umbrella to include more diverse groups within the UAE and abroad. We firmly believe that the cooperation between the public and private sectors, alongside charitable initiatives, is the main driver of this campaign’s success. We invite everyone to join this humanitarian movement, relying on the spirit of solidarity and compassion that characterizes our Emirati community, to achieve and even surpass the campaign’s targets, thereby supporting the implementation of other charitable programs throughout the year.
