The Minister of Youth and Sports attended the “Egypt Employment Forum for People of Determination” held at the Youth Development Center in Al-Gezira.

Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, attended the “Egypt Employment Forum for People of Determination,” held at the Youth Development Center in Al-Gezira. This initiative reflects the state’s commitment to supporting and empowering people of determination, integrating them into the labor market, and providing suitable job opportunities that match their abilities and skills.
The forum saw participation from 24 private-sector companies across various fields, offering nearly 900 job opportunities specifically for people of determination. This step highlights the commitment of private institutions to their social responsibility and aligns with the directives of the political leadership to provide real and sustainable employment opportunities for this group.
In his speech, Minister Sobhy emphasized that the Egyptian state attaches great importance to the affairs of people of determination, noting that the Ministry of Youth and Sports continuously launches initiatives and programs to qualify them for the labor market and economically empower them.
Dr. Sobhy stated: “People of determination possess significant energy and abilities, and our duty is to provide a supportive environment that helps them showcase these abilities and actively contribute to building society.”
He added: “Employment forums serve as a true link between youth and the labor market. Through them, we aim to provide decent and sustainable job opportunities in cooperation with our private-sector partners, believing that empowering people of determination is a real investment in the country’s future.”
The forum was attended by Nanis Al-Naqouri, Head of the Central Administration for Youth Empowerment; Mahmoud Fawzy Fawzy, Director of the Youth and Sports Directorate in Cairo; Manal Gamal, Minister’s Advisor for Youth Empowerment; and Ahmed Gaber, Director General of the Department of Youth Initiatives.
