Orman Association, Member of the National Alliance for Developmental Civil Work, Implements Social and Food Activities Across Several Governorates
As part of the efforts of institutions within the National Alliance for Developmental Civil Work to support underprivileged families and strengthen the social protection umbrella, the Orman Association carried out a series of social and food-related activities in several governorates. These initiatives aim to alleviate citizens’ living burdens and promote the values of social solidarity.
In Monoufia Governorate, the Orman Association organized a clothing fair targeting several villages and hamlets in Ashmun Center, including: Al-Iraqia, Kafr Ashma, Ezbat Zahu, Ezbat Kom Al-Akhdar, Ezbat Thabet, Ashma, Kafr Al-Jalabta, Salamun, Zawyet Al-Naoura, Ezbat Al-Omda, Ezbat Al-Islah (1 & 2), Al-Naba’a, Ezbat Sidi Saleh, Ezbat Al-Halfaya, and Ezbat Al-Safih. A total of 590 families benefited from the fair, with the support of 6 volunteers.
In support of the Coptic community, the association conducted a series of food distribution activities:
In Luxor Governorate, meat was distributed at St. Francis Church in Hagar Al-Raziqat Qibli, Good Shepherd Church, and St. Philotheus Church, benefiting 1,000 families with 7 volunteers participating.
In Beheira Governorate, meat was distributed through St. Anthony Church in Housh Issa, benefiting 1,000 families with 5 volunteers participating.
In Gharbia Governorate, meat distribution covered Zefta Center and several villages, including Sanbat, Kafr Sanbat, and Kafr Suleiman, benefiting 1,000 families with 6 volunteers participating.
These initiatives reflect the efforts of the National Alliance for Developmental Civil Work to integrate civil society roles, support the most vulnerable groups, and promote social justice and humanitarian solidarity across Egypt’s governorates.
