Yesterday morning, the Egyptian Red Crescent launched the 94th “Zad Al-Izza… From Egypt to Gaza” convoy, carrying urgent humanitarian aid trucks to the Gaza Strip as part of its ongoing role as the national mechanism for coordinating aid to Gaza.

Amid severe winter conditions in Gaza, the Egyptian Red Crescent continues to provide essential winter supplies to alleviate the suffering of residents. This convoy included approximately 79,300 blankets, over 42,600 winter clothing items, 1,500 mattresses, and more than 4,600 tents to shelter those affected, reflecting Egypt’s continued efforts to deliver humanitarian support to Gaza.

Additionally, the 94th convoy transported over 9,800 tons of urgent humanitarian aid, including more than 5,900 tons of food baskets and flour, over 300 tons of water, more than 2,400 tons of medical and relief supplies, and approximately 1,200 tons of petroleum products.

The “Zad Al-Izza… From Egypt to Gaza” convoys, launched by the Egyptian Red Crescent on July 27, have delivered thousands of tons of aid, including food supplies, flour, infant formula, medical supplies, medications, personal care items, and fuel.

The Egyptian Red Crescent operates as the national coordination mechanism for aid to Gaza, stationed at the border since the beginning of the crisis. The Rafah crossing has not been fully closed from the Egyptian side, and the Red Crescent has maintained readiness at all logistical centers, ensuring the entry of aid, which has exceeded over half a million tons of humanitarian and relief supplies, with the efforts of 35,000 volunteers.
